For as long as she can remember Cairn had a dream to open a theatre school for adults. A theatre school where adults of any age or level of experience could come together to play in the sandbox, feel safe to explore, build friendships and challenge themselves beyond what they thought possible. Actors Studio is that place. 

 

With 30 years of experience directing and teaching Performance at the University of Winnipeg and another twelve in her position as Associate Education Director at Prairie Theatre Exchange School, opening her own theatre school was a natural step forward. In less than two years classes at Actor’s Studio are to capacity, with many of our students returning to repeat the same class or explore new ones.
